The EldersExecutive Pastor Elder Antonio Emperator
From a congregant to the chairman of the deacons to the executive pastor of HeartSong Church, Antonio Emperator has been a portrait of faithfulness. Joining this local body in 2006, he has not ceased to show forth the love of Christ through practical Christian service. An entrepreneur in his own right, Elder Emperator offers his skills of business and finance to the body of Christ. He has a passion to the see the sons and daughters of God live the abundant life in every area of their lives. A faithful husband of one wife, Elder Emperator also serves as model for the men in the body. Proverbs 31:23 says, "Her husband is known in the gates when he sits among the elders of the land." A visible, quiet strength, Elder Emperator exercises wisdom in aiding in the guiding and leading of this local body. James Thurbers said, "Let us not look back in anger, nor forward in fear, but around in awareness." It is with this keen insight that Elder Emperator helps navigate HeartSong Church to the next place in Christ. Evangelism Pastor Elder Richard Toussaint Native to the island of Dominica, Richard Toussaint is a servant of Christ. Taking to heart Christ's commission to make disciples, Elder Toussaint has been diligently serving and seeking the lost, sharing the Gospel message of Jesus Christ. A student of the University of South Florida, member of Progressive Black Men, Inc. and brother of Iota Phi Theta, Pastor Richard misses no opportunity to connect to people, serve people and ultimately share with every person the truth of Christ. In 2007, Toussaint begin fellowship with HeartSong Church. After successful completion of the ministerial training program, in the fall of 2009, Richard was ordained to the office of elder under the leadership of Pastor Jesse Washington. Continuing in his development and service, Elder Toussaint remains under the tutelage and submitted service to this local body. Jean Paul said "the more sand that has escaped from the hourglass of our life, the clearer we should see through it." As Elder Richard grows in Christ, embracing the days of grace, the clearer he sees the urgent necessity to share Christ with everyone!
